The best medicine is water. When you drink too much you get dehydrated. Having a hang over is just your bodies way of saying "hey im thirsty" If you buy any of those pills they will just rehydrate you. Get a bottle or two of spring water and you will be on a good.

The primary cause of a hangover is dehydration caused by alcohol. Seems weird that you dehydrate by drinking, but your liver and kidneys go into overtime trying to eliminate the alcohol. Best prevention if you think you're going to drink enough to give you a hangover is to drink plenty of plain water towards the end of the night, again when you get home, and even more if you get up to use the restroom during the night. Best of all, it doesn't cost anything and is really the only effective prevention.

try Gatorade or V-8 juice and take some ibuprofen,be careful not to take Tylenol as alcohol and Tylenol can cause acute liver damage. In the Army we would use IVs of normal saline and vitamin B complex with ibuprofen an be good to go after a night of heavy drinking. It all has to do with your fluids and your micro nutrients. Try switching to water around midnight take a multi vitamin and ibuprofen before bed and i bet you won't have a hangover.

There is an OTC med specifically for prevention of a hangover called Chaser. You take it when you first start drinking. I have never tried it but I have seen it advertised on TV.

Vitamin B Complex taken with two glasses of water. Makes a heck of difference to how you feel. I used this method through all years of being young and foolish. It works.
