Hey, I'm from the mid-west (Michigan) and recently turned 21 and i have to pick up Champagne for tonight for New Years. We are all 21 so it doesnt have to be anything impressive. What is something with a reasonable price and not too dry? Also, i would be interested in an Asti if you could give me a good brand. thanks!

Tosti ~ Asti Spumante That is probably the most popular and cheapest! Approximately $10 a bottle depending on where you go. I don't like champagne but I am a bar manager and this is the most popular by choice with the 3 companies I order from. GOOD LUCK!!

I have always like Martini & Rossi Asti Spumante. It isn't dry at all and it is a little sweet but not too sweet! It should be under $20. Happy New Year and be careful out there!

You won't believe it but I opened a bottle of 24 year old Bellatore ASTI SPUMANTE for New Years 2015. I even got it on film. It was still bubbly and sweet like it was made yesterday. I just went down and bought 4 more bottles just to remember the New Year 2015.

Martini & Rossi Asti Spumanti $11 bucks good stuff, don't buy crappy gran spumante like ballatore or crappy sparkling wine like andre..etc spend the $11-$12 and go for the good tasting italian stuff.

Korbel is a solid not high priced option, it is not too sweet nor too dry. Most night clubs use this as the midnight toast champagne, because it is cost effective yet good.

Ballatore 100% by far the best I've ever tasted and its a sweet champagne not dry..... We had it at my wedding and people couldn't get enough... In fact we ran out.......
It runs anywhere from $5.99 - $4.99 a bottle.

Mumm, Moet (or better, Moet et Chandon Brut Imperial Rosé),
Krug, Veuve Clicquot, or if you feel loaded, Bollinger or Dom Perignon of course!
