I saw the news headline but didn't read the story.
Seems stupid. Next they've be suggesting you tattoo your name and address on your forehead incase your so drunk you can't find your way home. (To ask strangers to help you)

Identity tag for binge drinkers? I haven't heard of such a thing but I definitely wouldn't need one as I drink all the time, never binge.

I think it's a bad idea - ppl going for a drink should be old enough to know the consequences .... isn't that what mates are for when you go out
Yeh everyone start walking around with a tag on their arm and a contact phone number ..... who the hell suggested this idea

Binge drinking females will stand out from the crowd now and be targets of blokes trying to ply them with drink for an easy lay.

It seems a bad idea to me as well, I saw them being advertised earlier and they are very expensive.

in Canada they are planning to show how many beers you had by issuing special drink credit cards,show you must show it to a bartender before ordering, well that concept is dumb, what if they bought a bottle.or would you have to show it there also/

that's just awful - it encourages one to drink in excess - if one can't speak - there is a good chance of alcohol poisoning.
