Beer, Wine & Spirits - September 2006

I am typically a beer snob and I love my microbrews, but I'm kinda in the mood for something sweet, fruity, and girly. I also plan to be out for awhile, so I want something I can sip on for hours w/o getting trashed.

What is the proper etiquette when you have dinner guests and they bring a bottle of wine but you have already opened a bottle for them prior to them coming and you have it ready to be poured? Should you ask them if they would prefer the wine they brought or just say Thank You?

if one measure ov a pub spirit is 1 unit? 35% proof and you drive your supposed to be safe? how many spirits ( alcohol) will it take to be . once over the limit and twice over the limit ? if you can have 35mg alcohol in your body. confused! I WAS. GUENUINE ANSWERES ONLY PLEASE.

because I seem to be allergic. I don't break out, I just turn all red and look like a freak, so I don't drink. I've heard that some asians lack an enzyme to break down alcohol. And it seems to run in my family. My mom and sister have this reaction, but not my dad. How bout you?

one site is saying vodka, peach snapps, cranberry, pineapple.

On the package it had two bottles of wine on it, small half botttles of red. I can't remember the name or what kinid of wine it was but it was nice.
