Coke and bacardi are both as dense, if un-mixed then neither would float.

When these two ingredients are mixed, they will always incorporate into the other. The bubbles in the coke "stir" everything together. The weight is regardless in this question.

if mixed and left standing still the rum would rise to the top, the caramel in the coke would fall to the bottom.
