Singles & Dating - 2 September 2006

There's this girl that I met over 2 years ago and I have liked her since the first time I saw and talked to her. We didn't talk for about 2 years until this past June. She called me and we went to lunch and caught up; had a nice time. A few days past after lunch, I called and asked her out on a date. We ended up going to a park and threw a football, swung on swings, took a walk; had a nice time. After that though, I called her and never heard back.

Last night, I was out to eat and a movie with some buddies and I ran into her at a store. We talked for a few minutes and I told her to call me.

I've been dreaming of this girl for a long time, and I thought it was a start to a courtship at the park, but it never happened. I think she's the most beautiful girl I have ever met and I have very strong feelings for her. She's like the perfect girl. After the park date, it took me a while to get over her, again.

Should I call her and ask her out, again???

For me they were:
1. wearing only skirts because my ex said pants/jeans didn't suit me
2. whenever eating out with my ex, I had to give up foods that contained cheese, cream, or butter just because my ex hated them and insisted on sharing our entrees.

(These are nothing serious - I know.)

What about you? =) Is there any compromise that you had to make in your previous relationship that seems silly and stupid -- now that you're out of the relationship?

What are some simple signs that a girl is on her period? My girlfriend is very shy and will not tell me. Examples: wearing baggy clothes, darker pants (at the risk of leaking and it being visible). BTW are paleness and being cold also ways that you can tell?

I met this guy on an online dating website. We hit off instantly, & have been seeing each other 3-4 times a week for a month. We text message throughout the day, & talk at night if we aren't getting 2gether. Here is where I am confused. Last week I invited him out with me on a Sat nite, & he said he would call after dinner and never did. The next day we only texted, then things picked up again this week. We saw each other a few times & were doing great. But then today, it was my birthday, so I went to visit him at his job. We were laughing and joking, everything seemed fine.He was totally oblivious to my subtle hints throughout the week that today was my bday seemed a little upset when I mentioned today was my bday.At the end of his shift, he was wrapping things up. I decided to get going to let him finish up. I figured he would call me later or that we could get together & so I waited to hear from him. I know this woman at work(around mid 20's). Anyhow, she's had my eye for the longest time now. We say hi and bye whenever we get the chance but when i see her from a distance, she looks away from me. I've even gotten the courage to make conversation but that doesn't last long because i run out of things to say, and she does too. but when i see her talking to other guys, it seems like she has plenty to say. it seems as if she doesn't want me around her so as of late, i've just stayed away. I never intended to make her feel uncomfortable if she does feel that way. Should i just go ahead and tell her what i think about her....i don't want to ruin the relationship we have now(if you could call it that anyway)

i am not a person who cares about race when it comes to havin a relationship. i've had many interracial encouter in my past and i dont want u guys to think i'm racist or anything. but i have noticed something though. what is it with asian girls? correct me if im wrong but the only people they date are either of their own race or white. i have very very very very rarely seen an asian chick date a black guy. i am just curious about it. so can any one explain me about that?

I have a friend (girl)who had a really tempestuous relatiobship with another girl and now has those same feelings for a guy - they have just got engaged. He doens't no bout her past bisexual relationship or she still has feelings for this girl.
