It's easy to say but way too hard to do.
You were the one who knew me best,
But now I've realized you're just like all the rest.
It's about time that I tell you,
What is inside cuz,
You just don't have the guts to.
I don't want to do this again,
Knowing now it was all pretend.
Why do you mess with my head?
Why won't you just leave me alone?
I know I shoulda just walked away,
But things happen for a reason, at least that's what they say.
Did you know you were everything to me?
Well, not anymore, I've let go finally.
Now I know you're thinking that I'm crazy,
But there are people out there just like me,
Who know how you are.
Here's the truth, I'm not waiting anymore,
So go ahead, I don't care, be with her.
I deserve better.
I'm sick of watching days pass me by,
I'm so sick of wondering why.
You keep messing with my head.

i must say i agree with manic it kind of defeats telling him you're over him if your going to give him something that you wrote especially for him. you want to move on an this beautiful poem is a good start. don't give him the satisfaction of knowing that you spent this much time and energy still thinking of him. the best way is to just leave him be. he'll come back to you if it's meant to be and you won't have to do a thing........

Forget about him and move on with your life.
