im 16, and i go to a very small school where everyone knows eachother, and i have a very strong reputation for being kinda shy, even tho i am not, and i know thats why alot of guys dont consider me an option for dating.for example, people are very surprised to see me at parties, even tho i like them, and that just makes me feel awkward. any advice? on the confidence part, guy part..anything

K so me and my boyfriend have been dating for about a month or two... and he couldnt be more perfect... actually it feels like i finally found the right guy for me... i am finally in love. BUT... There was a girl, When I saw her 7 years ago, I talked to her and proposed her in our first date and she accepted. Her family did not allowed her to marry me. We have waited about 7 years to resolve this but one day, last year she left me saying that she cannot ignore her parents and she have to obey them.
I have destoyed my future, left my MBA, spent alot of money, spared my time for 7 years and got nothing.
My life, my hands are empty.
