Hahahah, try to understand that men don't play the stupid games girls do. And when they do they aren't half as clever as you are making this out to be. He said you are sweet but too young, he doesn't want to do you, he has fun flirting, but that's it because you are obviously too immature for him, or any guy for that matter just by you asking this question.

It means that he understands that as a grown man he realizes that you are probably both at different stages in life. Some men would love to date a 22 year old and would jump at the chance. A man who says something like that is looking for someone to get into a serious relationship with. Somebody who doesn't want to go to bars and get drunk more than once or twice a year. He wants somebody who he can talk with about what it was like growing up in the 80's and 90's. Somebody advanced in career and ready to have babies!
Of course some 22 year old women are ready for those things. Are you? If you are try not to flirt in a playful silly manner but in a quiet sophisticated way. Discuss things other than sex and the wild things you did last weekend and impress him with your intelligence and knowledge about what you want from life. Express a political opinion or two or an idea about the "business" you work in and ask his opinion.
I would guess that when he said this he probably had just gotten a picture of you being flexible in his mind and was a little aroused and a little shocked at himself for thinking such a thing about such a young lady.

WAKE UP, Chickiepoo...the guy is telling you "hey, you're cute and you'd be a great piece of a*s but he's not wanting to start anything with you cause he knows what would happen if he did. Bad for the workplace, bad for the job security and bad for him, cause he's not really into you; just your panties. I mean, what would you have in common besides sex? Leave the flirting alone and keep your job, honey. Act like a woman instead of a little girl.

I think he might feel that you are not on the same wavelength that he is on. The word sweet denotes "cute" so he is probably thinking of you as younger than he is interested in sexually. Sweet because you offered, but not old enough for him,
I think you need to move on, Men generally tell you the truth in the beginning about what they want and don't want. So on I don't think he wants to be with you in that way.. Maybe start dressing and acting a bit older..? but I really think you should just be yourself, and find someone that feels that same about you.. Plus assess what you really want if you just got out of a relationship don't jump right into another one.

It means that he likes the playful flirting, but does not want to go down the relationship road with you. He likes your company and friendship. He might be thinking more of you, but knows the type of relationship he would have with you is not the kind he ultimately wants. He could be a pig and have sex with you and dump you. It sounds like he respcts you and is not interested in just sex.

Every guy will think of having sex with a good female friend, even if it just a little bit(unless she's not that attractive). He basically told you that if the opportunity arose, he would go for it but the only thing stopping him is the age difference. He'd probably feel like a dirty old man if he got with you, even if you said it was alright.

it means so that you dont think hes trying to make a move he gives an excuse but if you like him and initiate he will not stop you he is just giving you the control so that he is not rejected or get himself in trouble.if you are interested tell him or ask him out for a dring it will work and age has nothing to do with it. im 28 partner 42 no big deal.

I am sure he has thought about you! Darn, 22 years old, still young and beautiful! He knows though life is a lot more than sexual appeal, and his experience in the 12 years that separate you gives him a different perspective. He sounds like a pretty smart man!
I am almost sure you could seduce him, but it would work out badly, especially since you work together.

It probably means he thinks you're attractive and if you guys were closer in age then maybe something could happen. He feels your age difference is to big to get involved in any kind of relationship (even just sex) other than just friends.
