We are both mature (45 and 38), good looking, professionals (Dr. and lawyer). We saw each other in an office setting weekly for 30 minutes ea. The whole time we were together (talking & pauses) we maintained intense, deep eye contact. He always offered his hand to help me up-we held longer than necessary. We didn't flirt(not the types & not professional)except 1 time when talking about chiropractic I innocently asked him "who does you" and he gave me bedroom eyes and said "I have friends we get together & do each other." We were alone once & I let him know I was interested & he nearly had a heart attack-doubed over-couldn't breath. I asked if he was ok and he said "you're making my stomach flip-flop." I said "good sign for me" and he said "I know." I said "nothing happened." He said "it wouldn't take much." We don't see ea. other anymore-7 mos. If I go see him alone. Will those feelings be stirred? Would something happen if I want it to?? What was he feeling/thinking?

He sometimes tells me that I'm great, and that he enjoys talking to me. We get on very well. We laugh a lot together, and have various in-jokes. We tend to think in the same way, and often say things the other was about to say. We're friends, but I can't tell if he likes me as more than a friend. He's a few years older than me, and he says he's shy and he doesn't meet many women in his normal life. I once told him that no one ever likes me as more than a friend and he said 'I'm sure there are those who care deeply but don't express it'. How much should I read into that? He's the sort of person who everyone gets on well with, and he has lots of friends, but I think he talks to me more than a lot of those, and we have more deep and meaningful conversations! I don't live near him, so I don't see him in person very often, but we often chat on MSN messenger. Short of asking him (which I don't have the confidence to do), how can I tell what he thinks of me?

why is it that guys will flirt with me and be nice and everything, but they only want sex. That's fine and all sometimes. But i'd like to date and have a relationship possibly, but everytime the flirting is over and they ask for sex and i say no I never hear from them again. Everyone says yeah ur pretty, and fun to be around. Awesome, but then why am I only good for sex?? Am i just looking in the wrong places or what?

Ok me and my ex broke up over a yr ago and we becase good friends afterwards and we talked everyday until about 2 months ago I stopped talking to her. Well i wanted her sister to give her her stuff back for me cuz her sister and i are close. I gave here sister the stuff and she threw it away but what she told me was that she gave it to my ex and i know its not true cuz it took her a week to tell me and my ex would have certainly retaliated. Her sister doesnt want us talking, when we were together her sister kept asking me why am i with her, her sister told me to stop caring and worryin about my ex. She also told my ex to stop talking to me b4 all of this happened. Why would she throw away the stuff? My ex has a b/f so it shouldnt bother her that im giving the stuff back right? And her sister has a husband so its not like she wanted me. Can someon plzz explain whats goin on here.

I was in a relationship for 3 months, but my ex and I have been talking on and off for a year. the thing is, we've been through our good and bad times but he does and says things that make me wonder about him. He recently looked at my Yahoo 360 page, and told me that everytime he looks at it it makes him think we are competing to have friends(I have like 280 something, but what's that gotta do with the price of tea in China?) Ok, then he accused me of being a stalker but each time I cut off one of my wepages, he follows me to a new site. And, now he calls me to say stuff like: "oh, this lady just cooked for me isnt that nice?"(Ive cooked for him!) "I just had this awesome slumber party...so much fum."(You are a grown a** man, why are you having those?) and, "I want to be with this 42 year old lady (he's 20) and she wants to be with me but she comes over and she has a man, and blah, blah blah..."(what the hell are you telling me this for? lol) I just dont know what 2 say to that.

ok

its a wonderful summers night warm but with a light breeze, we are on a long and winding canal going through the beautiful green british countryside theres no one around for miles. The sun is just on the horizon and is giving a gorgeous golden tint to everything.

We are on an old canal boat, sat on the deck with some nice wine , a great picnic with strawberries and cream and other yummy things.

and we just talk and chat all night!
