depends on where you live women don't like strange men goin up to them and talking to them. of course look where I live. I live in the southeast. before you talk to them observe them for a while and see. make sure that their man isn't lurking around the corner and avoid a potentially embarrassment situation.

I agree with pinkstar... when you assume she has a boyfriend it lets her know you find her so attractive you can't imagine her not having one. It's a great ego boost. Also it helps by not putting her on the spot, you've given her a graceful way out IF she doesn't find you attractive. Then neither of you have to feel the SLAM of a rejection.

I would just come out and say, "are you dating anybody?". For some reason, I feel like I sound really young if I say the work "boyfriend" or "girlfriend". I don't know why, its really stupid. So thats why I always say "dating".

Ask her out, that will almost automatically force her to tell you if she has a boyfriend, and hey, if she doesn't have one, you get a date, two questions answered by posing one...
