Singles & Dating - 7 August 2006

This is my theory: everyone is with someone in one way or another. What i mean is everyone is either in a relationship, seeing someone, talking to someone, messing w/ an ex, still having sex w/ their baby's momma/daddy. I think it's nearly immpossible to meet someone who is COMPLETELY unattached. Whats your take on this? 20 somethings only please.

Me and this girl have been just playin around for 2yrs. Ive been brutally honest to her. Ive told her i dont want a relationship. I get everything i want from this girl. She is awesome she cooks she cleans she does everything you could want from a woman. But im content with what we are doing. I dont want to put a label on it? I like her alot. I have told her all this. I like you but i just dont feel the need to put a label on this relationship we have. She says she wants whatever i want. As long as im with you ill take you. I like the way it is and if you dont like it then you should just leave me or move on. Well i think she like me too much to let go. Should i end it or what. My friends are telling me to put a label on it or let it go and detach her. Im not really sure what to do. I think a relationship should be comforting and im comfortable about the whole thing. I think im being fare by being honest. Relationships are just so complicated. Whats the best thing to do?

There's this guy I know and he's really cute. I've liked him ever since 9th grade. 1 week ago, my boyfriend of 1 1/2 years broke up w/ me. He says he still loves me, but he's not sure if he wants to get married at all in his life and he thinks this is unfair to me. So he wants to be friends in the meantime and he still calls and tells me he loves me and sends me emails daily. I thought maybe we had a chance at working it out, but last night, a good friend of mine called and apparently, he doesn't need space - 2 days after we broke up, he was on a popular dating site and he hit on my friend (not realizing she's my friend). He doesn't know I know what a liar he is - if he wanted his space and didn't want to spend more time w/ me, then why is he attempting to look between other women's legs for the answer? I know I have to confront him, and get the rest of my things from his place, but how do I let him know I need to see him w/out looking needy or letting him know something is up before I get the chance to say it to his face? Please help - I feel sick over this.

One of my friends, nice male, age 23, dated a girl who was 17. Her parents said wait until she was 18 and he agreed, then when she turned 18, she began to date his best friend, age 24! Then broke up with him, and is now engaged to original male's brother, age 29. The woman in question is tall, gangly, doesn't take care of her hair or skin, wears clothes that are spotted and stained, and is constantly gnawing on herself, biting or sucking her fingers. She doesn't seem to be very well read or intelligent. They are planning their wedding and the circle of friends are not planning to go. I'm just curious about other people's opinions and take on this scenario. Thanks-I know it sounds like a plot for a bad movie. Sometimes life is stranger than fiction.
