Tina Turner said it well didn't she? "Whats love got to do with it?" Love is just that...love! Love can come and go just like relationships of friends and lovers, I'm lucky to say I fall in love with my husband DAILY! I also feel love is a choice! Good luck, I hope you choose to have it one day and get it back the same, it's awesome!

love is yours forever.. *if and only if* you are willing to work at it. and that person has to be just as willing... if not, if someone slacks off, or gets lazy, or doesn't know how to work on a relatioship, then love will change into resentment, and can turn into hate, or dislike, or just apathy, which is just as bad. love is a basic necessity in a relationship, but ur right. when it comes down to a relationship, love is not the only thing that keeps it going. love should fuel each partner's *want* to continue growing, and taking care of the relationship.
i believe love is wanting to do and give what is Best for your partner....putting their happiness above yours. think about it; if u find someone u love so much and put her happiness above yours...and that girl feels the same way and puts your happiness above hers.. you are SET. u are in a wonderful, stable, and positive relationship because together you take care of anything in between. any obstacle, any negative problem that comes up, because of ur love and level of commitment, u will be able to withstand anything! if one person is not strong, unsure, or lazy, not working or communicating, then the relationship will become weaker and weaker, and u will be unhappy and negative. a loving relationship should be something that makes u better and stronger each day.
until u experience that, u will not understand it; i have it now, but never knew what it was . i look back at my exes and see such a huge difference.. it's a different level to love, and be loved, in such a way where we are so committed that we can withstand ANYTHING. i know my ex loved me, and i loved him..but we were not ready and not right for eachother. i have no hard feelings for him..but in that case, love was Not enough. but now with my boyfriend we grow stronger each day, thru all the arguments, we communicate and learn how to be better to eachother, and we become happier as time passes. i've never felt so stable and safe and secure with someone before..because i put work into it, and i know he works just as hard. it's a level of respect as well as love. set boundaries for what u want in urself, ur partner, and ur relationship, do not settle, and u will experience the greatest thing and be able to enjoy LOVE instead of worrying so much about the negatives.

True love is there forever even if you arent together anymore. Love has everything to do with a lasting relationship.

If you really love then u know it is 4 ever bc real love never goes away.
Thats why I don't understand people that r in love n when they break up they move on n they r n love again.

Exactly! Have as much casual sex while it's still O.K. for you to be promiscuous. After 30 your suppose to be "mature" enough for a meaning relation which I suppose love could have something to do it....in my opinion security has allot more to do with it than actual love. So until I find a dude that's "secure" meaning financially....I'm having as much "love" as I can! :)
