my friend thinks that i was talking about her behind her back. how can i covince her otherwise?

One of my guy friend's birthday is coming up, and is it okay to get him a birthday gift even though I've only gotten to know him well in the past three weeks or so?

I don't want to lead him on to think I have feelings for him (romantically) but we have gotten to know each other quite well.

If yes, what is an acceptable gift?

He earns just as much as me. He ussually splurge his $$ on food and his gf. I just felt bad that I can't really help him out this time. This month has been a tough month for me as I just switch job, hence the late salary payment

recently, I know a new friend who is deaf. since I never have a deaf friend before. so I am worry that some of my actions may be offensive to him. we have classes together in college. because i dont know asl, so i just talk to him in mails.so yea, please give me some advice. is there anything I should be aware of? what deaf people dont like? what is considered an offensive action? I really dont want to offend him in any way. so please give me some advice.thankyou very much

P.S. also, how can we become good friend? i dont know asl....in class, sometimes i talk to him through pencil and paper. well, it works but it takes a long time....what can we talk about in mails? actually, I lack the skill of making new friends. what should I do?

P.S. please also tell me that how you know their culture...do u know asl too? or you know this because you have a lot of deaf friends?

I had a good friend for the past eight years I met at work. I was always attracted to her but she was with the same guy (and eventually married) the entire time so I did not really think about it happening and was just a good friend to her, and I was cool.

Well she left her husband and decided that the best time to tell me she knew I felt that way about her was after I had some sort of hope it might happen, and she did not want to go there with me. She also picked the worst day of my life to say it (family member's funeral). I could get over her not having those feelings for me, but I couldn't get over her knowing that I was in for a letdown someday (she knew, her words, that her marriage wouldnt last) and never told me, and the really bad timing of it coming out, not to mention she basically got it out of me before I was ready to tell her (like maybe when she wasnt married, I am not the cheating type of guy). I told her I didn't want her in my life anymore, so did I overreact?

uh i took some pix on my cell n was sending them, but i sent them to an email i dont even kno! it was a mistake...wat can i do to fix this? o n she/he isnt aswing me, i asked her to send the pix to babygirl_2847@yahoo.com (my email) but...ya kno, so what do i do? :(

How did you deal with the loss? Did you lose other freinds or family relationships due to the loss of one person? Can you offer any tips to let go & move on?

I've tried 3 times to communicate with this freind in the last year; even offered to go to counceling. I wanted to work on unhealthy aspects & hurtful things that had happened, but she was unwilling which is why I ended the friendship in the first place.

i have this sock who is very very ill. she is on the verge of death, and on her death bed she told me that the sock that goes on the other foot, her partner per say, is missing and the ill sock thinks that the missing sock is going to be killed! these socks are very important to me. what do i do? stay with the dying sock or look for the missing sock? it's so hard on me to leave either one to die! what do i do?

So my friend is AMAZING singer, but it ALWAYS seems like she's showing off and everytime any of my other friends or me start to sing a song she sings louder, and well better. My friends erica and max started dating about a month ago. a mutual friend told Erica that I had liked max for a long time, and since then erica has deeply mistrusted me. I stopped liking max as soon as he started dating erica, which i told her, but still she does not trust me. now they are having EXTREME PDA in front of a lot of people like on lunch breaks, in hallways, anywhere! i dont no wats wrong with me, im not shy or anything but theres just some things that are so awkward for me, im not one to ever usually care what others think of me but for some reason i cant do this, i cant shop with my friends, i can with my mom but thats like it, for some reason i feel so weird shopping with anyone else esp. my friends and my bestfriend whose a gay loves to shop and when i go with him its so awkward and idk why,...i just cant look through things with any of my friends with me, ive tried nd maybe it is that i care what they think and i dont want them to be like omg u like that so im always trying to pick out things i no are ugly to make fun of it and be funny but its getting old and i no this is a stupid question but....how do you shop with other people guys/girls?
