For what reasons can you not be around this person??? You gotta be a man and deal with it. That's what life's all about dude!!

The only reason one "can't" be around a person or persons would be because of an existing court order. If that is the case then one cannot be "around" a person at work, at play or in the home.
If you are talking about it being painful being around another person - an ex for instance - but you work together, live the pain and deal with it. My rule: Never date a co-worker or anyone in a company you will have to work with for lord knows how many years.
If you want to be more specific, go back in to your question and give some details. Then we will all go back in and nail it.

You dont have to do anything or be around anyone if you dont want too. If you choose to stay around that person then you need to find a way to deal with it, otherwise leave.

You asked an impossible question. It's like the irresistible force and the immovable object. If you can't be around this person, but you must, one or the other has to give. It can't be both ways.
