No, he needs to learn responsibility.
You need to learn to say no.

Because you need your money for the rest of the month. Tell him that. You can say, " I just don't have it to lend." After several times of this he will get the hint.

Both of you can learn from this.. Don't ruin a friendship by being his extra cash supply. Don't think that this will be his last time to ask for money, and if you say yes, it will make it easier for him to ask next time.

do no longer in basic terms pay $50 a month. The "american nightmare" would be positioned off a heck of lots longer because of the fact your credit would be effected and additionally you wont be waiting to make any respectable purchases. And confident, you are going to be human, yet once you have been going to be that lots in debt, i think of you may desire to have thought approximately how lots you have been getting rid of! replaced into it an high priced college and the school expenses are many of the $200k in debt? Or replaced into it a low fee college and additionally you have been basically getting rid of loopy extra money? the two way, thats a heck of a great variety of debt till you're a doctor or something! call your guy or woman loan companies and notice what they could do for you. some supply a repayment approach of as much as 30 years (if no longer, they certainly supply a 20 12 months repayment). Your money would be decrease, yet you will pay them decrease back longer. confident, the money will nevertheless be ovver $one thousand, yet thats the great element approximately graduating college and becoming up, you could desire to pay decrease back what you borrowed. Loans arent loose money regrettably, and additionally you will could desire to pay them decrease back in increments of extra desirable than $50 a month

I think it comes down to who has what sorts of needs for the money. If there are kids who need to be fed, thats probably first.

Then, I would think, how good a friend is that person, has he loaned you money, would he. I would loan $10 first and see if I got any back probably. In some cases I would take pity and give him the $50. Probably best to give it instead of a loan anyway. If I get 3 square meals a week I'm ok anyway.

No! He now sees you as an easy touch and a pleaser and he will continue to want to be pleased. Tough Love says you say no because he earns what you do and he has no self control. Teach him some the hard way. If he doesn't like the hard knocks of life with you then get another rommate because he is not going to pay his share of the rent next month.

If you really want to help him out, I would suggest not giving the entire $50 at once, instead give him $10 a week or so, that way he will have to ration the money instead of being able to spend it all at once.

I'd offer everything else, like a shoulder to cry on and something to eat, if there was extra, then only give what you feel you truly can afford to and no more. Let him get another job to support his spending habits......

why do you live with him, get a girl to live with you. Tell him no for the money and he needs to be conservative about his money and save it for later use.
