Friends - August 2006

We r mailing each other since one and a half months, it was me first who brought the topic of marriage but negatively, so that there shouldn't be any misunderstanding. But though not directly, indirectly he wrote many a times that he is mine & that i am the only girl in his life that he is attached to. Then one day, in some of our chatting session, he asked me what would be my answer, if he asks me for marriage. When i said yes, he silently avoided the whole topic & is still mailing me everyday. We r posing to be good friends, even i asked him directly many times, but neither he confirms it properly, nor does he deny. Does he love me or just enjoying the whole game ?

She's been doing this for almost a year now. The first time she did it, I told her that she shouldn't have done what she did and that was the end of it. And then a few months later she looked depressed and when I asked what was wrong, she said "save/help me" on a piece of paper and made me swear not to scream or tell anyone. She tried to lie to me about it but I grabbed her wrist and she yelped. That morning when I went to school, I was shaken up and my friends were wondering what was wrong and why I couldn't tell them. Finally, during lunch me and my friend went to the media center and I told her how to find out for herself. After she found out we went to a teacher that we trusted a lot. Eventually, the counselor found out and notifyed her parents. She still does it and her parents aren't doing anything about it! I really want to help her but I don't know how. I've already had her call me when she feels the need to cut herself and try to write about her feelings, but they didn't work.

I recieved a letter today from an old boyfriend I have not seen in many years. I am married now and I love my husband very much, but I have to admit I still have feelings for my ex. It was a very nice note, not at all romantic, just a friendly "how are you". He also asked about my husband and asked me to say hi for him. I showed my husband the letter and he was suprised but ok with it. My question is, should I respond to this letter or just let it go. Even now my heart is aching to see him. I don't want my marriage to suffer. What should I do? Please be serious as this is serious to me.

I had in love this guy, but his hiding away from me when he notice i like him alot. We worked the same job, and we are friends i work with him for 4months now, but i am now so sad. He doesn't tlak to me that much right now. He evens doesn't come to work wen i worked with him together, and he gives excuse to my manager. last week i help him alot, cuase he told me that his going to move house together with his 19 year old sister and a 14 year old brother. His mum and Dad lived thier own home. And so his the oldest borther 26years old. Today i start work about 4pm so i came earlier just to see him,i saw him sitting on the chair doing his stuff in his bag. He knew i came, and i went to the office to check in my card, so i went out 2 chat with him.But in the end he just went off 2mins ago. He even didn't say goodbye too me ='(. I try to forget about him, but is so hard for me. And tomorrow morning i'm working with him and he will come for sure? And i don't know what his going to do to me?

How many best friends do you have, or think a persons should have? Some people say just 1 absolute best friend, some say a few. I have to agree with the latter. I have three best friends, and they are all so different that no one is higher than the others. Bryan I met in high school, and even though we're on different paths in life, we are still great when we hang out together, and have trust and are loyal to one another. Dave and I met in college, same trust and loyalty. And Derik when I studied abroad--even though he lives on the other side of the country, we always keep in touch every so few months, meet-up once a year, and trust and loyalty is there.

Do you believe in DTA (dont trust anyone)? It seems like when you do nice things, that most of the time people wont consider returning the favor.
