How many best friends do you have, or think a persons should have? Some people say just 1 absolute best friend, some say a few. I have to agree with the latter. I have three best friends, and they are all so different that no one is higher than the others. Bryan I met in high school, and even though we're on different paths in life, we are still great when we hang out together, and have trust and are loyal to one another. Dave and I met in college, same trust and loyalty. And Derik when I studied abroad--even though he lives on the other side of the country, we always keep in touch every so few months, meet-up once a year, and trust and loyalty is there.

I agree with you. I got friends way different from each other, its like comparing apples to oranges.

it depends on the people if they are all good friends then they could be a big group but really closely knit so u could have more then one ppl like u as friends for different reasons but they arent really ur best friend they i think u just r so close to them b/c u relate 2 them
u only have a few true friends but u can have as many as u want if u know how to be a true friend

I have four people that I count as best friends. These are people that I can tell anything to without being judged, will be there for me at the drop of a phone call and that I never have to ask help from, they just volunteer.

I think a person should have one best friend because it's hard to place other people in that decision of being overlooked by time. One person should hold your life in the palm of his hands; less fights, nothing can spread with only one person, etc.

I think you need to look up the definition of the word "best." There can be only one. I have lots of terrific friends whom I love dearly and cherish their friendship. But there can only be one truly "best" friend.

i think one can have as many friends as possible in as long as one remains friendly to them.

i have one... i trust her a lot because she is special to me..... even we argued sometimes it all turns ok after that... much more better
