I'm a 13 year old student (femail) and I have the same problems. I think u just need some time for it. Just be yourself snd the people around u will like u . True friends r not easy to find but u just have to keep on moving and face all your problems. Some day everything will change - u just have to wait for it

Well are you shy at all? If you are then thats hard cause I was shy at that age as well. Now as for you making friends, just try out for school teams and stuff, thats a good way to make friends. Also maybe a change in clothes will help you out and also a haircut. I dont know much cause you didnt provide much details. But try and be more talkitive and approach people and try talking as practice, find people that have the same interests as you.

Hoped this helped you out.

I used to not speak to anyone when I was in high school and the same went for grammar school. I rather keep to myself than find me talking to anyone. I then decided to talk to someone. Anyone. Over anything. I then learned that the depression I was suffering was from not having anyone to talk to. If you have friends, you then go out, have fun, laugh. You don't even have time to feel down when you are busy with other things. If you are interested in a sport, band, tv show et. Show it and you will soon have people talking to you. That is how I started.

See a doctor, if you're clinically depressed they may prescribe something for you that may help. Also read a great book: "Feeling Good" by David D. Burns, M.D. where he describes his clinically proven treatment for depression.

sorry to hear that...maybe you can volunteer at an old folks home or childrens' hospital--that way you would be helping those who really need it and it would help get you out of the despression because you would be bringing joy to others and making friends in the process.
