Friends - June 2006

ok so i've lied to her many times about different guys who didnt exsist and this time i told her i had a boyfriend and i was texting him but it was really my other friend pretending to be him and she called the number a found it wasnt him. I really messed up this time and she and i said some really hurtfull stuff to eachother. We go to the same school and i dont want things to be awkward between us. How do i fix this? Please help!
By the way she really hurt my feelings and said some really mean things about me and my other friends and im not selfish i was just having fun because she kept bragging. Im sure if you were me you would lie too. No one understands why i lied. I know i messed up by lieing in the first place but just saying sorry isnt going to work. We really hurt eachother. Please help!

I got the impression that guys look for a certain type of women when they want to get laid, and then they choose another type of women whom they make friend with. I may be wrong. So I'd like to ask guys if it's true, and I'd like to ask if other women feel the same way about guys.

How come my best friend keeps lying to me about the stupidest things? Matt and I have been best friends for 4 years and he used to have a crush on 2 years ago. But why does he lie all the time even after I keep catching him in his lies and comfronting him about it nonstop? For instance he always says things to make himself look better than anybody else, like he can be a better boyfriend than my boyfriend and tells me that he took his girlfriend out to whole bunch of places and when I asked her about it she said that never happened. He also told me he bought an expensive gift to his mother and I asked her how she liked it and she didn't know what I was talking about Why does he keep doing this???

We have been friends since the 7th grade and I am an incoming sophmore. At the end of the year she started being friends with this girl she said she would'nt be friends with and she said that I was ignoring her when I thought she was ignoring me. Well this girl, ashley, is a horrible friend and I had broken the friendship like 3 months ago. But then she IM'd me and said "hi" and I said " why are you talking to me?" and then she e-mailed me and was like " Just because you miss that dum-*** boyfriend of yours doesnt mean you have to treat everyone else like crap!" and then i said " First of all ashley, your the dum *** and second of all im not your friend and you have no right to say hi to me when i dont even like you anymore and you cant say that about jake because you dont know him and he is way cuter than darren (ashleys boyfriend) and then she was all like whatever. this girl Sarah liked this boy Ben so one day Sarah told me that she likes Ben. On the same day I asked every one who they liked, Sarah said no one , I thought every one knew that Sarah liked Ben, so I said" yes you do Sarah, you like Ben!", Sarah got all mad at me and stuff.Every one knew Sarah liked Ben now, so every one asked Sarah if they could ask Ben out for her Ben said NO , and I said why, she seriously LIKES YOU!!??He said because he saeriously HATES HER!!!!! every one was laughing because I fell, we were skateing, but Sarah wasnt there because she didnt have socks. so every one came up to her lauhing and saying he said no because he hates you. and now she is SERIOUSLY MAD AT ME,what should I do???!!!!!!!!!
