I mean I don't agree with everything he says, but at least he is honest and tries to give advise to help the contestants improve. It seems to me that Paula and Randy are affraid that they are going to hurt someones feelings or something. It's a competition!! Someone will end up losing and I figure that they might want to know why they lost! Simon will tell them. So why does everyone hate Simon for being honest with these poor kids? Some one has to tell them, I mean life is not always peaches and cream.

Isn't that rude-even evil? Let them go off the stage and cry they have already been crushed. Why make them sing? I like "AI" but they need to come up with a different way to get another hour worth of "AI".

Tell me why people care about American Idol? Does anyone else agree with me that if these people were actually any good, they could get an agent and go about finding fame the way most singers who are actually good have done- through hard work and dedication. If you're actually good, why would you allow yourself to be ridiculed by a panel of judges via the homes of millions of people who have nothing better to do than watch TV?

I know a lot of people are going to say "Why" and "Who Cares."I really didn't until a young boy decided to ask my sister (who is a teacher) what a "BJ" as. And the reason being, he heard it from a 6th grader whose brother had her photos on his computer.

Do we really want her to be the next American Idol, or even have the chance to make it much further along.

I have been watching a little bit of American Idol. Does anyone notice how Randy Jackson will make a judgment on what he thinks about the music and then makes little attempts to try to get Paula to agree with him that are sort of hard to detect. He'll make hsi decision, then kinda turn around in his chair, and say "Paula what you think?" with that lame cocky smile. It's so obvious because he also knows it doesn't take Paula much to agree with anyone. I don't know if it's because she's just a huge copycat or because she is afraid to hurt Randy's feelings. You see how friendly Randy tries to stay with Paula throughout the whole show and how he does his best to look like a good guy. He tries to make Simon look like a bad guy even. Randy might say something rude, then Simon might add his own rude comment, and Randy will be like "aw now come on Cowell! Be nice! At least I didn't go there. Boo!!" I was watching American Idol last night and they started doing something I remember them doing last year. That is, making the voting audience feel guilty if they felt the wrong person was sent home based upon the judge's comments. First of all, I thought you could vote for anyone you wanted on the show. They're constantly all 'what's up with America?' if they feel as if the wrong person went home. The point of the show is for people to pick who they want to choose for. People have their own taste in music. Sure, sometimes the American audience doesn't pick based on who was the obvious best singer, but based on other thing. Idol's judges should be the last people complaining about that however. They rarely make comments about the singing talent of anyone. It's always about the way their dressed, their music selection, their on stage presence, etc. They need to stop saying they feel the American audience made the wrong decision just because the voters didn't agree with their decision.
