Television (Entertainment & Music) - 2 March 2007

I hope the proper american season 5 (not released on dvd yet anywhere!) is much better than season 4 (season 5 in the uk for some awkward reason is the US season 4 part 2! - the US season 4 part 3 and all of season 5 will follow together on another US box set... and of course, as season 6 in the uk-aargh )..

whats worse, dont get mixed up with the american dvds which come out in volumes! nothing to do with the series, at least they tell you on the back of the box (I think) what season/series youre watching though?!? lol. nothing can beat seasons 1-3 which were, like it or not, much funnier than season 4 (4 and 5 in uk!). 4 was ok but trying too hard.. mayb they had different writers after coming back? cross your fingers with the proper season 5! not sure if its showing in the usa yet

Have you noticed a lot of one second commercials lately?

Has anyone else noticed a lot of short and abrupt commercials lately? I've seen this most on ESPN and Fox Sports Net (probably because I'm a sports fan). It usually occurs right before the show is about to go back on air from a commercial break. There was one instance on Wednesday night where they showed a Toyota commercial, then right before SportsCenter went back on the air, there was a shot of a Bowflex machine for a second.
I was just wondering anyone else has noticed this.

I was watching the simpsons today, and I realized that It was based on the book Lord of the Flies by William Golding. I Tivo-ed American Idol and at the end as I'm about to delete it Fox 5 News says that Chris Daughtry will be on American Idol every week!!! Is this true!!!! Who saw that episode of Fox 5 News!??? If you did give me the scoop!!! I hope he is another judge!!!!!!!!

American Idol last night...should Leslie Hunt have gotten voted off?

Did anyone hear her comment while she was singing at the very end of theshow "Why did I decide to scat?" Do you that had any effect? She had a nice voice and was a cute as a button - but was she a little to different? What are your thoughts?
