you really wanna spoil it for yourself? well, if you have to... she is alive. wakes up near the end of the episode after having that near-death experience. well, i guess we all know that she lives... but there is an unexpected twist towards the end. i wont tell you about that yet.

Meredith wakes at the end of the episode after having one serious near death experience her mom Ellis does die going to tell her daughter to return it just wastn' her time, its gonna sound awful but so glad mom's gone I think it'll make a huge difference in Meredith's life for the better.

As of the top of the merely accurate episode, certain. She is lifeless and impressive out with bomb squad guy and Denny. yet who're they kidding? they could't kill her off! The call of the tutor is gray'S Anatomy. She'll likely merely be in a coma for some weeks.

she is alive, you had to watch it to get why she appeared to "die"
her mother died for real in the episode and she needed to be there until her mother passed so her mother could tell her that she was "anything but ordinary" very good episode, one of the best since the show started, loved it you can catch a replay at www.abc.com and click on Grey's Anantomy...hope this is what you were looking for, holly

She's alive. But I wish she would have stayed dead. It would have made an interesting twist if she was just a narrator and maybe a ghost at the hospital.

Yes she is alive...at the end of the episode...she and Shepherd were seen lying togther...and they both had happy smiles on their faces....as they slept.

Not dead. And I knew she wouldn't be. She just had one of those near-death experiences so she'll learn to appreciate what she has.
