Television - 18 September 2006

The details are a little sketchy but this has been driving me mad for a while now.

Basically it was a 1970's or 1980's straight-to-TV animated film (there were a ton of them back in the day) that was made here in the U.K. and was about as crude as you'd expect for the timeframe. There was a girl who runs away from home, or some malarky, and she gets kidnapped by these pirates who have a giant airship that they fly around in. And her brother, or friends, or something equally stupid rescues her and they all live happily ever after. Probably.

I also have a burning suspicion there may have been something to do with a treehouse in there as well, but I can't guarentee this.

Anyway, I don't need an essay for the answer, first one who gives me the correct answer that I can subsequently Google/Wiki to verify gets the points. And no, I didn't make up any of the above.

My daughter & I remember this one line from a cartoon. It's at the very end before it fades out.
The line is, "Hmmm, could be"; spoken in a very high-pitched, kinda sarcastic voice.
I can't even remember who the characters were, just that line, and it's bugging us to no end.
You help will be greatly appreciated.

So it's about that time that season premier's begin! There are tons of new shows this year, but a lot of the old shows ended w/ cliffhangers. So my Questions is "What are you most excited to see this year on TV".
For me it's "The Office" and I wanna see what this "30 Rock" is all about!

A few years back, there was a show either on FOX or UPN where about five American families had to compete to win the ultimate prize of an island home. During the last few episodes, I remember one or two of the families constantly picking on the Black family. Next thing you know, I didn't see it any more. Does anyone know the outcome? Were the dates and times changed without me knowing? Or were the ratings so low that there was no need to continue airing the show?

Which of these cartoons do you think is the best. In a previous question someone compared, The Simpsons to drinking fine wine, while Family Guy was getting a buzz off beer. Then where does that leave, South Park. Is South Park, shots, or martinis.

The Simpsons seem to have more classy jokes, while Family Guy is ever where, from past to present. While SouthPark tends to stay in the present.

What do you say, which do think is best and Why?
