please elaborate there are so many different theories involved with Lost

As an obsessive fan, I have read many theories on what 'Lost' is really all about. I don't know which ones are close to the truth, but I do believe that ultimately, it will be a bit like the films 'Sixth Sense', 'The Others' or 'The Village', in that if we, the viewers, had known one certain piece of information from the beginning, it would have all made sense from the start. Of course, I could be completely wrong!

I think its a big brother style experiment thats gone horribly wrong or maybe sickenly right for the ratings. I mean the fact they randomly crashed on an island that has all these weird hatches on it. there are too many links between the characters to be a coincidence. The others are part of the experiment (fake beard anyone?)
Either that or its all one big dream

I think they all been in hospital in coma's having the same weird dream. I got this idea from when they showed flashback of Hurley in hospital, and the others (people there fighting) our there Doctors and nurses. A weird theory but I hope I'm right

I think there is some kind of spiritual link between the island's
electromagnatism, and it's effect on people's psychie.
At some point some one figured this out, and set up the experiments (like monitoring the people pushing the button)
to see what kind of effects happen.
