Nah, using an old lawnmower engine, some rope, a tin foil tray, stickback plastic and half a washing up liquid bottle, instead of constructing the sea faring vessel they were supposed to they would accidentally build a tank with armour piercing missiles and end up shooting Robert Llewellyn (who still wouldn't die, of course).

Sure, as long as they aren't up against MacGuiver!!... unless he's the new "Hanibal"... Ha, ha, that would be fun- they'd be unstopable!!
Only problem with them teaming up- McGuiver seemed to be more of a solo-player...
