Which of these cartoons do you think is the best. In a previous question someone compared, The Simpsons to drinking fine wine, while Family Guy was getting a buzz off beer. Then where does that leave, South Park. Is South Park, shots, or martinis.
The Simpsons seem to have more classy jokes, while Family Guy is ever where, from past to present. While SouthPark tends to stay in the present.
What do you say, which do think is best and Why?

I think Family Guy is kind of, well, a sellout. The jokes are usually just random stuff and could arguably be written by anyone with an education in current pop-culture and a smart-asss attitude.
South Park is genius, I cant really explain how, but they always do a perfect job of exposing the utter ridiculousness and stupidity of our culture and role models.
The Simpsons are somwhere inbetween the two, great writing, sticks it to em' but with taste(un-like south park),
and they've been around for like 18 seasons wich is to be reckoned with.
I think they are equally funny but South Park has the best writers, then Simpsons, then Family Guy.

The Simpsons is far and away the best. It actually paved the way for Family Guy and South Park. I love Family Guy too, but just have not ever really cared for South Park.

I like The Simpsons better because I grew up with that ever since I was little. Then Family Guy (Found out around 2002), then South Park, which I just found out about in 2005.

I'm going to have to agree with the South Park people. South park just reveals how stupid we all are sometimes, and uses humor to show us. It doesn't try to hide it and it's just plain funny.
Family Guy is a close second. They have that random humor and still tries to stick with what's going on today. It makes it consistent so you'll notice when something is different.
The Simpsons is a classic but I've been watching it for years which makes you wonder how it was able to stay for some many seasons. It's still good and entertaining to watch but eventually I think it'll have to end.

The Simpsons. South Park and Family Guy will be dated. The Simpsons has better writing and better voice actors, just better over all quality, and consistent.

I think South park has the best jokes it stays with what's current so I'll drink a shot to that! and Family guy has stupid funny jokes as well but l love it when they bring up stuff from the past and your like i remember that it's hilarious!

The Simpsons because to me it is THE classic, the original prime-time animated American Societal Mirror, and God help me it's be going strong for almost 17 years
To me Family Guy and Southpark are apples and oranges... but BOTH give me the screaming giggles. "Stewie" from Family Guy is a Tiny GOD !!
Southpark certainly is the most agressive in lampooning current events
One I'm sad to see not on the list is "King of the Hill".

duh! the simpsons. want proof? its been on the air forever and shows like family guy and southpark only came on the air as a result of the greatness of the simpsons. yeah i like family guy and southpark too. they are both great and funny in different ways. if i want crude jokes about everything that is controversial i'll watch southpark. if i want an evil genius baby and a talking dog i'll watch family guys but if i want an all round comical experience the simpsons is it. simpsons rule!

Family Guy, it appeals to me because I like looking out for references to random things.
Simsons is ok when you are a little kid, South Park is for when you are a teenager learning about the world =)
Ah well thats just the way I see it lol =)
