i know, it's the thought that counts, but let's admit it.. we've all received a gift or two that made us think "WHY THE HELL DID YOU GET ME THAT?"

Mine- for my 13th Birthday my dad gave me a BONZAI plant. I have no interest in plants, never have and he was a day late.. I really wanted to cry I was so disappointed. ( i was disappointed because I felt like he didn't put any thought into it, as i never wanted anything of the sort)

The plant sat on the porch all winter and that is where it met it's demise. I wasn't selfish enough to tell my dad how much i hated it or how disappointed i was, but i think he got the idea.. he never showed up with another plant.

People hold the door open for you, but you are really far away (they didn't really need to hold it for you) and then you have to speed walk so you won't be a jerk and have them standing there for five minutes. People always do that to me. Just go ahead. Unless you see I some physically deficiency, I can probably make it in the door without it being held for me. It's just annoying...
