saying bless you everytime I sneeze when I sneeze all the time cause of allergies annoys me

When I am ordering food and I am finished and the person starts asking about if I would like anything else. I say no thank you and they start with "are you sure no dessert apple pie, or ice cream?" Yes I am sure, I didn't order any did I. I know it sounds bitchy, but it is a pet peeve of mine. Oh and when I am shopping and the sales person keeps asking if I need anything, or when I am just looking at a car on a lot and the sales person is all over me like flies on you know what. I just want to take out a tazer gun and tell the slimy so and so to take ten steps back or I will zap him.

I agree with Christina about the over apologizing- but I don't really have a problem with politeness.
I grew up in the south - people are very polite there, very respectful to others-
I moved to the northwest and noone seems to know how to say Mr, Mrs, Miss, please, thank you, etc
I don't think I could ever be annoyed by common courtesy- I get annoyed not seeing enough of it,

I can't think of anything polite that someone would do that would annoy me....chances are, if it annoys me, it's probably very impolite.
I really don't think I have the right to get annoyed when someone does something polite. Obviously, if it's polite and I'm annoyed by it, the problem lies with me!

When people keep apologising and they say things just to be polite, if they don't care how I am, why ask?! People working in shops are the worst!

i find it annoying when you go to church and people allways come over and want to say hello i know it might sound strange but i like going if all the humans didnt get in the way

Sometimes you tell them you had a fight with someone and that you're feeling upset or smtng, and instead of asking you what happened they just say ''sry to hear that''. Maybe they don't want to be nosy....but it's still annoying.

My bosses dad (82 yrs old) comes into the office and carries on and on with compliments, "I really like your hair that way", "You sure look good today", "We sure do appreciate you". I know he is trying to be nice, but I just want to do my job. It is embarrassing in a way too. He just goes on and on. Every time he comes in.

When I'm at work and I answer the phone, people ask me how I'm doing today and try to make small talk (hello, I have 12 lines to anwer) just tell me who you need to talk to ok?!

At the checkout at the supermarket the attendant says:"Have a nice day." You know they were told to say that and that they don't really mean it; and they know that you know, but they still go through the charade.

I absolutely hate being called Mam.....I
know it's supposed to be a nice way of calling a girl, but Miss would be much better term.
