That's a good question, but hard to reply to.
Well, perhaps.
But couldn't some truths also come to the surface one day?
Also, do you like the idea that you might be living with a stranger?
Anyway, if you have as much to hide as your partner, then that probably won't make much of a difference....

Yes, some things are really better left unsaid. There is a lot to be said "between the lines".

As long as you give that opinion with a kind and loving energy, the person should be able to take it. It's hateful, spiteful, frustrated, antagonistic energy that will drive a person away, regardless of the words that come with it. Some things are left better unsaid. But when asked for honesty, it's okay to give it in a loving way. But sometimes the person doesn't know what they're asking for. Always use your best judgement and treat each situation as unique.

I don't think so...As a matter of fact one day in Gods Kingdom Everything that was hidden will be revealed...I think things that go unsaid tend to make a person more of a liar. I really speak what's on my mind, even in having a discussion, at least then if I don't agree with that person, we can at least agree to disagree. I would have titled this "Keeping Secrets" because things that are kept unsaid is a secret.....

It depends on
- whom are you going to discuss those things with. Will they understand? How much they mean to you? Do you think they will get hurt even if they understood?
- The subject. There are some issues that must find a solution. Others, can be solved alone, since time will show....
- the timing. This is an important parameter. The how and the when is of importance.

Depends on the situation...and how much you want that person to believe whatever you are saying. Who knows? Maybe they already know what you are not saying and are just waiting for you to step up to the plate and be honest. May mean everything in some instances.

Yes. Would you like to bring up the subject of Bill Clinton and Monique Lewinsky when he was president.
