Biggest mistake is falling for people that are not right for you. You have to have something in common with someone to make it work. Cause if you don't like anything they do then why be with them. Just because they are cute or hot or have a nice body doesn't mean that they are going to be able to keep your interest or hold a conversation, or be romantic. Things that you want need or want out of someone that doesn't have the means or wants to do that for you. What I'm saying pretty much is that you have to find someone that is your best friend, who you could be around all the time because to be honest you are going to be around that person more in your life especially if you marry them than anyone else. Your sharing a bed with them you have to love everything about them or at least most of it. ;) Also Jealousy is a big thing that ruins relationships!!!

Trying to change for the other person to keep them happy. It seems like when people first get into a relationship they love everything about the person and except them for who they are and the longer they are together the more they dislike and want them to change. It seems there is always one person in the relationship trying to change to keep the other on from leaving.

the biggest mistake is ASSUMING the person knows what you want--sometimes it's best to tell/ask straight out, it clears up a lot of confusion
