I am troubled by the lack of security when it comes to the protection of the children who are accessing Yahoo!Answers. Should Y/A step up to the plate and require more information from their users so that less kids get on here? I personally, am sickened by the total lack of responsibility from Y/A in organizing their system to keep these kids out of an obvious adult site. They spend their time sending "violation notices" for ridiculous reasons, when in fact they should step up their operations in trying to find a way to keep access to kids at a minimum.
Tell me what your thoughts are about this.
I personally am closing my Yahoo!Answers page soon, due to this very reason. I mean, we have got crude pictures being placed, pedophile types just waiting for a kid to come on, and vulgar language everywhere. Yahoo!Answers needs to do something more to keep these kids off.
