I don't think it's a silly question at all! I love to look in decorationg magazines and watch tv shows about decorating and day dream about how I'd decorate if money were no object, and my husband didn't care how I decorated.

I'd definitely go for a Tuscan look. I'd make the room look sundrenched. I'd have the walls painted to look like crumbling stone, and for furniture, I'd have some wrought iron and some old sturdy antique wooden pieces, and I'd want marble flooring with Italian wool area rugs.

I'd use deep rich earthy colors for the fabrics, rugs, drapery and accessories...burnt orange, greens, golds, perhaps a touch of blue. For accessories, I'd use woven tapestries, copper, ceramic, cast iron, earthenware and rustic terra cotta. For fabrics, rich ones like tapestry, velvet, brocade.with some toile, of course.

There'd be lots of plants, majolica, some comfy chairs and a daybed, because it would be my daydreaming room. :)

I would have it painted bright white with gold and pearl accents....

-Many mirrors with beautiful golden frames, a white marble fireplace, white piano with clear vases throughout the room filled with lillies, there'd be a big white bear rug laid upon the floor and a huge chandelier gracing the ceiling in the center of the room.

Bright white is beautiful and gives a feeling of relaxation, innocence and purity.

Of course there'd be no pets OR people allowed in the room, though. That place would be hard to keep clean! lol

I'd make all of the walls with tons and tons of balloons painted on them. I would then put a bed with sheets of balloons on it. I got this inspiration from the book and movie "balloon farm." I think it would just be the neatest idea EVER!

Hope you like this! =D

idk i like poka dots and pink so i would paint the walls pink ( not a bright or dull pink), i would put a tv in it and a pink or white couch, a pink bed, and have polka dot stuff in the room. it would look a lot better than it sounds!
