How many points and percentage best answers do you need??
Do you get the priviledge of being able to view peoples profiles even when they make their Q&A private?

I just got my Top Contributor badge today. I had 685 points and had answered about 85 questions in my category with about a 30% best answer rating.
No, can't read people's profiles even when they make them private. No free stuff either. Though that would be nice. Free music downloads would be awesome!

Well, I WAS a Top Contributor for about a total of two days...
1) No, you do not get free stuff, and you do not get paid.
2) No user is 100% sure, but I do know that you can be a level 2 or 3 TC or a level 6 or 7 who is not a TC.
3) No, I'm pretty sure you don't.

no u dont get free stuff, 10% of your answers have to be best answers and in the same categories, and u cant view private profile

there is nothing special about it except you get the badge thats it. Just keep answering questions of that same category and get like 10% of those questions right.. but it has to all be within a month or so i guess.. no one knows for sure, but thats what i think.. then you pretty much have top contributor.

actually to be a top contributor you haven't any free stuff at all and you need more than 10% best answers to get it.
so i would say there is nothing special at all. :-)
