The clever ways I've come up with:
1. Make fart noises with your mouth before and after the fart.
2. Start doing the underarm fart.
3. If you're in the bathroom, flush the toilet at the same time (lol, even when you're not done).

I carry a balloon at all times, when I am about to let one go I blow up the balloon then let out the air by pulling apart the balloon's bit to make it do a whoopee sort of sound. As for the smell, well I just state really loudly that someone must have stepped in dog poop.

Well, you could cough right after and make it sound like the fart so they'll just think you were coughing and not farting lol.. I really dont know. I guess just hope that it's a silent one.

why bother? light 'em...use a bic or a match, but make sure u've got on pants first. jeans are best & safest! a good ignition will produce a nice blue flame & change the sound so's u don't hafta disguise the sound! have contests w/ur friends! great fun 4 the whole sick family!
