many of my white/american friends always try to say that they are from somewhere else. i had a friend that was wearing a german shirt. i said "i didn't know u are from germany!" and she answered "i'm not. my great grandma is." i was like WTF? O_o? americans always try to play themselves as from somewhere else... why is that? are they ashamed of being called white?

and no angry answers please... i am just very confuse.. cause most people i know who are born in america, always try to pass as some other nationality

Whenever I think I have it bad, I just remind myself of how bad others might have it. One day, while searching for some movie trivia, I stumbled upon this gentleman's website. I'm inspired by his ability to put things into perspective. I have the utmost admiration for people who take adversity and turn it into opportunity. My purpose of doing it is to show people, particulary black women that they don't HAVE to straighten their in order to be attractive. Also for those women who do wear natural hair to maybe find new styles. So just give me your opinion in the most respectful way possible.

What is the tallest and shortest you'd date someone?

For me, the tallest would be 6'0 and the shortest would be 5'9.
