In the sense like you are his property, but also his treasure, meaning that men want to protect and guard their treasure and never discard it. Does this make sense?

Yes, it does make sense. But if the person did that, then it could lead to a very bad relationship when the male is always trying to 'protect' the female, so then he would never let her out of his sight. A relationship with no freedom. It could lead to a abusive relationship as well, which not good. With this in mind I would feel more afraid then secure I believe. I might feel secure if he didn't take things too far, but no matter what I would NOT like being thought of as 'property'. I am still my own person with my own thoughts and feel and I can make up my own mind and live my own life. With or without someone there, I don't like to be dependent on anyone for any reason, because I'm not. I can live a happy healthy life by myself if needed, whenever needed

I don't like the term 'property' much, but I get where you're comming from, so yes I would feel secure.

I am no one's property. The man who wins my heart would never feel like he owns me because we would be partners in every sense. And no matter where I go or who I'm with, he would never worry because he know I choose to be with him.

No, when I think of property I associate it with inanimate objects an I am far from inanimate.

Yes, I do. My husband is a good, loving man, and he likes to tell me that he "owns" me. We are both very happy, so it works for us.
