P.S. for the english guy who asked,
a valley girl is someone who is usually from hollywood and talks like this,
' like omg that is so totaly how i like talk!'
the usualy draw out the last sylable and makes the pich higher.

Actually that bothers the like, uh like sh it out of me he he.
Really I don't think I do, but whenever I travel to New York, Mexico, ANYWHERE. People call me Squirt (the turtle from finding nemo) Because they say I have a surfer accent, which I could understand seeing as I've grown up in San Diego and surf everyday.
I don't quite know what the explanation of valley girl talk would be, where the hell would you pick that up anyways? A low IQ and self esteem issues are the only explaination.

When I was in Jr High (like about 20 years ago), I so totally talked like a val cause it was like totally rad even though we were in Kansas, lol, and people that didn't were like grody to the max. But I have since grown out of that stage (long ago), and now I find it extremely annoying, just like many of the more recent slang that has come along (my bad, the bomb, etc). Do they even teach proper English in schools here anymore?

No! But i think it is so funny when girls do! But it is really annoying!!!! One time my friend and I got dared to walk around and talk like a valley girl the whole day! I couldnt stop laughing! :)

It's seriously the most annoying voice I have ever heard. I talk like that sometimes, but only to annoy people. I'm really good at doing all kinds of voices

No, that way of talking is really fast and there are lots of "like, like, like" because the poor girls cant think of anyhting else to say.
I am a girl, and I cant help but giggle when i engage in conversation with those girls, they just make me laugh...so silly.
It also annoys me when guys speak like that, its aint very masculine or attractive.

I grew up in orange county California and out grew it long ago. I am 43 and what sounded cute at 15 is so like immature. lol Gag me with a spoon!!!
