my dad got drunk at my sister's wedding.
He got the first beer and the very last one (and about half in between) well right in the middle of my sister giving her speech, she was like bawling and my dad was like "I GOT BEER!!!" it was awful. but my sister had had a bit to drink too so she thought it was just hilarious.
my dad was totally nuts that night though. After the reception we were driving back to our hotel and my dad was yelling out the window! at people in other cars and pedestrians. He kept on screaming over and over "MARTINI BAY!!!!"
god it was so embarrassing. and then when we got to the hotel my dad of course had the room key, so I went to get it out of his tux pocket and he was like "I feel like dancin'". finally we got the key and my dad was all "I can do it!" but he couldn't. he almost fell down.
as soon as we got into the hotel room, this is what he did: he walked in and stopped in front of the wall and just stared at it. For like 5 whole minutes. he was just a mess.
to this day we still make fun of him for that. and he doesn't recall any of it.

The only reason i GO to wedding receptions is to get drunk. They are boring.

i got drunk just last night... but it was in a club...
well ive got drunk b4 in a party... but that was not a wedding reception !.. that was my company's annual party !.. and it sucked !... coz that was the first time i ever got drunk !... its been 4 yrz for that issue now... but those guys still tease me for the stupidity i did there !

Ah, that brings back fond memories of Ben the hot bartender...
If your out there Ben, I love you. And this time I really mean it because I am sober. I realize we only met one time, so many moons ago but you made the most awesome 7 and 7s. From the first sip, I knew we were soulmates. I think you felt the connection, too. I will wait for you and your 7 an 7s for eternity.
PS Please erase from your mind the images of me trippinig down those stairs... I swear they came up out of nowhere!

Yes. Wish I didn't. My mother was pissed! Everyone had a great time anyway and they still talk about how wonderful my wedding was-even 6 years later.

Yes and I had the time of my Life....Then I went to a Bar afterwords and got even more toasted!!!! I'll never forget that night..lol
