Castaway. It takes an awesome actor to go most of the way through the movie with no other actors/actresses to interact with.

ITA! Forrest Gump has got to be my all-time favorite Tom Hanks movie! In fact I was just watching a little of it on TV. The servers at The Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. can never stump my friends and I went we dine there!

Philadelphia is one of my favorites. Of course Forrest Gump is a classic. I think the only movie I didn't like was The Castaway (the 2 1/2 hour Fedex Commercial)
I had the privilege to work with Tom Hanks during his TV days and I found him to be one of the most talented, gracious, considerate people I've ever worked with. He deserves all the respect and accolades that he gets.
Here is a link to his showbiz bio.

Big, Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Apollo 13, I pretty much like everything he's done.
