I am talking about all genre: Rock, Rap/Crap, Metal, R&B, Pop. It seems every year we are hearing more rubbish music than year before. There is no meaning in modern songs....just anger and sex. Nothing about falling in love and feeling positive. I think music is just having a negative impact on the way people think and behave. I see a direct correlation between Rap and the social ills we currently face in States (violence, rape, racism). Anyone else thinks artists and the music they produce is rubbish nowadays?

They're awful and fake. MTV used to play music videos and now all they have on is junk like "My Super Sweet 16" and bad dating shows. VH1, Bravo, etc have all gone crazy with so called reality shows. MTV should rename itself RTV! Agree? Disagree?

Do you think some people spend too much energy trying to make what they see on TV reality ? Their are so many subtle and overt lies and fantasies on TV, mixed together with truths. The messages are sometimes so seductive, too tempting for rational to overpower them sometimes.
