Super Sprout! : My school is so pathetic they closed the library. Not that many people used it, but how weird is a school with no library?

I remember when i was at school. It was the same kind of thing. I hardly think its intellectural stuff, doing wordsearches tht you could do in your own home. I would just stay at home and say your ill, or dont say anything at all.

Why dont you read some books in your school library or ask the teacher to give you homework? You did ask for a challenge and you have one!

I agree with you - having read your question I think I am now going to make all my students work really hard this week!! Not!! Its a reward for hard work! - if I could have this as an extra weeks holiday I wouldnt say no either!!

Because school has to end sometime! And yeah that was how my school was like except for year ten. That was more like a mad rush to get the coursework in. But that won't happen for the years below - they don't do cswk anymore! grr..

Winding the teachers up with your jolly pranks and japes...throwing flour bombs at each other, burning your sports kit behind the gym, tying your school tie to that special lamp-post, and generally arsing about.

I'm sure nobody would object if you went to the library and read some text books.

No library!? That is odd. We had one. It was only small but at least we had one.

Well sit down and study!. Nobody will ridicule you for taking quality time out to educate yourself for once a term!.

At my son's school they spend the last week on outings to various places but why they don't bother to teach you during the last week I have no idea!

If they let you have the last week off, the week before last week would be the last week, and you'd be watching films etc!!!!
