I guess I'd have to say the country or city. I have been to the ocean or desert or mountains really. And I can't recall any wilderness. But I love being in the country riding horseback with my sister in the summertime up in Wisconsin. I only get to see them about once a year and when I do it is very enjoyable. I live in the city or so to speak it isn't a very big city, but it isn't a country either. LOL But I love going out to the lake and boating and swimming and fishing and partying and just having fun.

My house is in the country, but very close to a city, so I enjoy the best of both of those worlds. Happy moments spent in both places. I also have a place in FL on a lake. Many happy moments spent there. Never been in the desert, but my son said it sucked. I love the mountains and feel very close to nature and God there. Ditto on that with the widerness. I try to enjoy every place where ever I am as much as I can. God has made them special.

country, mountains, wilderness. I lived in Alaska for 20 years and felt like I belonged there more than anywhere else I've ever been. Being close to God's best work makes me feel most whole, most content, most serene. I live in a city (moved back here to care for my mother) and feel stifled and out of sorts. I have to move within the next couple of months and am hoping to find someplace peaceful again. Do you have a place for me to rent?

Ocean - that is where I spent a lot of time with someone special and not living near an ocean made me appreciate it all the more.

I have been to all. Here is what made them each so special
City: friends
country: friends
ocean: friends
desert: friends
mountains: friends
wilderness: friends
You see, each location has it's own bit of charm, but what makes being there really special is having good friends with me.

The country which is my back yard, watching my kids play and grow up.
Bonfires in the summer evenings and having hot dogs and marshmallows every night for supper, cooked on the fire.
Friends and family coming over for picnics.

Mountains and then city.
It's just my life ... it's all I know. I dream of having a horse ranch in the mountains where I'll stay M-F and a loft in the city for Saturday & Sunday.

The city for the excitement and fun. The country for the peacefulness and beauty.
