in a particular lecture this guy usually sits next to me, but i don't really warm towards him. it's a combination of several things; garlic breath, speaking too softly, speaking DURING the lecture, reading my comic strips before the lecture before i've had a chance to, being a smart*ss & just general irritating things like that. i do ignore him when he talks during the class, but i don't want to be rude or bitchy otherwise.

it's especially hard when we bump into each other outside of class & he seems to want to have a long rambling conversation, most of which i won't even hear! is there a way to take the familiarity down a notch?

When you're at work, do you have to be extra quiet for fear of waking up the security guards.

Seriously, what is the point in a security that just sleeps all day?

I am getting close to getting my MA and I live near NYC. I would really like to get away from the city and start over in a new place, preferally not a big city, but not a small hick town either. I was looking at Sugar Land, TX and would love some other suggestions. Anyone been through Montana or Wyoming? Area of the country doesn't matter much, but I don't care much for the insane heat in the deep south.

give me a rating for gingerbread by Rachel cohn *book*
and tell me what you would rate my blurb
Like every rebellious 16 year old Cyd Charisse has
just been expelled from a fancy boarding school
and now she has to live back with her mum
Nancy a social star who wishes her daughter
was a normal pink loving teen and step dad Sid
who calls her the recovering hellion. Cyd is going
to try and get through the whole summer without
getting into more hot water.

After coming back she meets the lovely “Shrimp”
her five Foot five, surfer-shirt-wearin’, baggy
jeans-slouchin’, pop tart Eating’, spiked hair
headed boyfriend. They start going out the only
problem is her mum disapproves of Shrimp. She
gets into a lot of trouble just for seeing him.
Problem!!

Her only solution to this is to live and meet with
her real dad in the BIG city of New York for the
summer. Cyd has only met him once when she
was little but now she can meet him and
remember it.

I JUST found out that my COPYRIGHTED work was turned into a Best-Seller by a Hollywood A-List Author/Producer. My work was copyrighted in 2001, at least 4-5 years before he wrote his book. The basis of the story is a dead match for mine. Would the news run with a story like this? I do mean a true A-List celeb here!
