I would call the slow speed lane #1.
If someone said "Get in the first lane" I would move all the way to the right.
I could see how that could get really confusing if someone considered the opposite the first lane.

I would think that since you get in the slow lane first when entering the highway that it would be lane 1.

Low speed. Because in America - vehicles drive on the right hand side, meaning the lane at the far right should be number one. As your speed increase you move over to the faster lane, which is two and so on.
Did you win the bet?

It should be the first lane to your right, but if you drive in the UK, it will be the first lane to your left

"Seattle" is the in undemanding words one which seems to get it. i'm surprised at how a multi-lane street can develop into so congested because human beings don't know or care about the regulations of the line. basically the actual undeniable actuality that maximum folk don't know them makes them a severe chance on the roadways and carefully irresponsible, now to not practice ignorant and self-based. what number circumstances have I been slowed up by ability of someone doing 5 or more beneficial below the speed reduce in the a procedures left lanes? Am I an "aggressive motive force" because i'm reacting for your brush aside for protection and your egocentric habit, and then I bypass you on the right because you received't get out of that left lane? If it truly is the stance and reasoning human beings will use, then i might want to care a lot less both and that i visit react in spite of the undeniable fact that mandatory to get down the line appropriately and in a unmarried piece. i do not realize why a similar those who get bent outta structure about rushing (one risky act) are a similar ones who're commiting yet another risky or diverse acts including cellular-phoning, no longer signaling, no longer conserving it of their lane, no longer making use of the right lane, using in unfavourable climate without their light fixtures on, and so on... to absolutely answer the question, no, the non-speeders are in the incorrect because they don't do the speed reduce both, they're oftentimes below or no longer retaining the speed reduce besides and in the incorrect lane for doing so, so that's in undemanding words a case of ignorant those who don't know or care about the regulations, as a outcome congesting site visitors bypass, causing risky situations, and turning out to be aggrevation.
