Because of that states money woes, California schools were ranked last, even below Mississippi. But I think Mississippi still has the lower literacy rate.

I'd probably say a highly populated state like New York
or California. But thats just a guess. Do you know???

georgia my home state, is ranked 50 out of 51 in standardized testing for its children. 51 is last, not tops, btw. we have a state-funded lottery system that helps pay for that educational system. i don't know how the adult population further skews us. enlighten us. we could use it.
