Music for night driving.....
It's 3 am & you're driving home down the motorway. Hardly a car to be seen, just a light drizzle on the windscreen.

on the stereo:-

Burn the clock - Adam Freeland
Angel - Massive attack
Venus in Furs - The Velvet underground

Anyone know any more tunes that should be on the stereo to fit the mood?

I dont want to rock & headbang.
I want the ultimate driving chillout
That sadness to be going home.
Ultimate introspectivness without depression.

What's your favorite genre of music from the 80's? What bands do you like?Mine are new wave and hair metal. Picking a favorite new wave band would be hard for me but my favorite hair metal band is Motley Crue. What about you?

I'm thinking along the lines of singer songwriters. I have looked, listened, but no one seems to be as good as that man. I really like his early stuff, especially "Songs of Love and Hate" but "Songs From a Room", and "Songs of Leonard Cohen" are all really good too. So any suggestions of artist who are similar to him? Thanks.

Anyone know the title of the song that goes: 'ging gung gully goolly goolly'? as far as I know asterix sang it in one of the cartoon-movies. Almost everyone knows the song but each time I ask the title and who sings it, it seems nobody has a clue...
