After years of pirating music I've decided to give it up and go legit (Despite pirating being free, I feel you can receive more "cred" if you own a actual physical music library)

So I want to know how big everyone's collection is (and what is your most treasured album)

I have about 48 CD's, and I have a copy of "Chipmunk Punk" on vinyl, and also a CD version of Buckner and Garcia's "Pac-Man Fever!"

she will be going to graduate school next year for voice performance. I was thinking a recording she should have or a book that might help her learn about auditions, etc. Any Ideas?

I really like classical music, but to many of my friends it is unapproachable music, and they can only listen to rock or pop.

why is this?

I would usually just search for the lyrics, but with this song that's not exactly possible. See, as far as I can remember, there were no "lyrics".

You know how when you don't know what the lyrics to a song are, but sing the tune with made up words, like "duta data deta"? That's what the song was comprised of if I'm remembering right.

Also, if it helps, I remember the music video was the main singer (male) on an alien spaceship that was flying through space. It's killing me because the tune is catchy as hell (obviously, sense I can remember the main tune even though having not heard it for around ten years ;) ) Thanks!

I am using HMV digital currently, but it often doesn't work or have all the tracks I want to buy (including very popular songs like terra firma, balloons and that's not my name), so I'm considering switching. Any suggestions?
Don't reccomend itunes. I've tried it, I hate it. I'm never using itunes.

Man, I came into a copy of that, and I never knew Johnny had done it. His rich vocals are so great and so familiar that it's almost just as good a rendition as Don Gibson himself! Vern Gosdin did a respectable cover of the song, but Johnny Bush's vocal style and arrangement style really do the song justice, I think. Has anyone else run across this?
