I just cames back from helping my niece with her mom's funeral. My niece is only 16 but found the very best song I have ever heard for saying goodbye to a mom.
May time ease your pain but never fade your memories.
Celine Dion's "Goodbyes"
Mama, you gave life to me
Turned a baby into a lady
And mama, all you had to offer
Was a promise of a lifetime of love
Now I know
There is no other
Love like a mothers
Love for her child
And I know
A love so complete someday must leave
Must say goodbye
Oh
Goodbye's the saddest word I'll ever hear
Goodbye's the last time I will hold you near
Someday you'll say that word and I will cry
It'll break my heart to hear you say goodbye
Mama, you gave love to me
Turned a young one, into a woman
And mama, all I ever needed
Was a guarantee of you lovin me
Cus I know
There is no other
Love like a mothers
Love for her child
And it hurts oh
But something so strong
Someday'll be gone
Must say goodbye
Ooh-ah
Goodbye's the saddest word I'll ever hear
Goodbye's the last time I will hold you near
Someday you'll say that word and I will cry
It'll break my heart to hear you say goodbye
But the love you give will always live
You'll always be there every time I fall
You are to me the greatest love of all
You take my weakness and you make me strong
And I will always love you till forever comes
And when you need me
I'll be there for you always
I'll be there your whole life through
I'll be there this I'll promise you
Mama
I'll be your leader through the darkest night
I'll be the wings' that guide your broken flight
I'll be your shelter through the raging storm
And I will love you till forever comes
Goodbye's the saddest word I'll ever hear
Goodbye's the last time I will hold you near
Someday you say that word and I will cry
It'll break my heart to hear you say goodbye
Till we meet again, until then, goodbye

"Mama" by B.J. Thomas
Who's the one who tied your shoe when you were young
And knew just when to come and see what you had done?
Mama, oh Mama
And who's the one who patched your eye and told you not to cry
'cause he was too big for you to try?
Mama, Ma-a-ma
And who's the one you didn't need to plead
To give her time to the Little League?
It was Mama, oh, ma-a-a-ma-a-a
And who's the one who gave her shoulder
When you told her your first love was over she'd met someone older
Mama, Mama
It was Mama, my ma-a-a-ma-a-a
Ma-a-ma, oh ma-a-ma
Who's the one who taught you obligation then dedication result graduation?
Mama, Mama
And who's the one who's shown the friends you've known
A home away from home when they were tired and all alone?
Mama, Mama
And who's the one who held a tear inside
When you introduced your future bride?
And who's the one who didn't mean to cry
As you walked down the aisle, the tears you saw her smile
Mama, oh, Mama
Ma-a-m-a-a, my Ma-a-ma-a
It was Ma-a-m-a-a

I just buried my mother and spent a lot of time picking out these songs. I also had two hymns: In the Garden and How Great thou Art, but these were more personal and I play them over and over.
"Like my Mother Does" Lauren Alaina
"She Loved" Sherri Easter

first of all let me say, i'm sorry for your loss. here are my suggestions:
-"titanic" by celion dion (legendary!)
-"mary's in India" by Dido (very touching)
-"torn" by natalie imbruglia (the lyrics make you shiver)
-"wires" by athlete (again lyrics make you shiver)
i would also suggest music that your mother listened to, and enjoyed, that way she will know you're thinking of her. again i'm sorry for you loss. bless her.
