Personally, I think I'm a terrible singer and I could use the help, but I need/want to join the school choir. Are there any tips that I could use to join chorus without a ruddy voice and eventually become pretty good? And since I stink pretty bad, would a singing coach remedy this and help me become the kind of singer I aspire to be? Oh, and I presume I'm a baritone-bass.

I need a song that fits when somebody important is found dead. The person who killed him almost admits it but then somebody fake faints to cover it up. Finally, someone runs away. It doesn't have to be all of those things in the song but a couple at least. Feel free to post more than one song. And I need a song where its the music,not the words that portray it. I'm not sure if i'm allowed to use words...

So basically big, dramatic music with a hint of danger/on edge.

Personally, I think that most of the newer rock that is considered "popular" sucks like Fall Out Boy especially, but not all of it sucks. I like a lot of modern rock and/or heavy/death metal bands and a lot of the older ones too, but I hear from a lot of people that rock has died, but I think they're wrong, rock just changed. Some for better, some for worse. Just give your opinion on modern rock and list some bands that you like and some that you can't stand.

I've been playing acoustic guitar for 4 months now, and I've gotten really good considering I taught myself. I want to start electric guitar now, but I don't know wich is the best to start off with. I want a Gibson Les Paul or Prestige Elite, but I know they're really expensive. I want to get an electric guitar soon also because I know they should be on sale for the holidays or after the holidays. Which is the best to start off with? Also, who makes the best acoustic guitars (I have a First Act... which isn't the best, but it was just to start off with)?Thanks. I am a rank rotten, tone deaf but enthusiastic singer! I would love to be able to sing just one song in tune. Is there any chance that could happen e.g. by reading a book, by getting singing lessons or do I really need a miracle? If the impossible were to happen it would be really great if I could sing Bring him home (Les Mis) or She Wears My Ring (Solomon King)
